Senior Adult Ministry
Every other Thursday | 10 am – 1 pm | Fellowship Hall
Enjoy games, crafts, and entertainment along with a lovely lunch served by Adult Plus volunteers twice a month on Thursdays (starting Sept 5 - May). The programs feature professional musicians from Houston's fine arts community as well as talent from FPC and other local congregations. The cost of lunch is $5. Make reservations by Monday noon prior to the event by calling the Adult Plus reservation line and leaving your name, phone number and number of people attending. Oct 3 “Houston - Where are You Going?” a documentary by the Kinder Institute of
Oct 17 Sharon Lietzow, “Concert Piano for Everyday People” Classically trained
Pianist who performs across the region to a wide range of audiences.
Nov 7 Oriens Trio “Where China and Houston Meet” Chinese music with a local
flavor. Violin, cello and piano.
Nov 21 Jeff Smith, pastor of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and his father, Jim,
“Thanks Served Up Family Style”. Jeff and Jim come home to FPC and reflect on
the meaning of the Thanksgiving season.
Dec 5 Patti Adams “Through the Years – Songs You want to Sing” – Patti a popular
local soloist sings songs that make you want to sing along.
Dec 19 Bill Heston & the Chancel Bells, “Christmas – Ring In the Season”, Bill’s annual
Christmas reflection is complimented by the bells ringing the traditional songs of the season.
As we begin our new season books are needed for our book exchange. If you have books to donate please bring them to the FPC Welcome Center marked for Adult Plus. We appreciate your donations.
