Every other Thursday | 10 am – 1 pm | Fellowship Hall
Enjoy games, crafts, and entertainment along with a lovely lunch served by Adult Plus volunteers twice a month on Thursdays (starting Sept 5 - May). The programs feature professional musicians from Houston's fine arts community as well as talent from FPC and other local congregations. The cost of lunch is $5. Make reservations by Monday noon prior to the event by calling the Adult Plus reservation line and leaving your name, phone number and number of people attending. 2014 Spring Schedule
March 6 Craig Ryan & Glennie Scott – “Dance to the Music” when Craig sings and Glennie plays you just want to get up and dance, and some of you will, you can’t help it.
March 20 Nicole Kenley “Music That Shaped Me”, Nicole will once again captivate us with her broad range of music and a voice that carries audiences along with her.
April 3 Nada Chandler “Captivating Stories With a Powerful Point” – noted for telling traditional Jewish Midrash stories that engage and challenge the audience.
April 17 Princeton Miles – “One Tenor” this formally trained young vocalist delivers with power and passion Gospel, classical and pop.
May 1 Tuesday Musical Club Chorus – “Songs Sang as They Were Meant to be Sung” the annual end of year concert by the Chorus.
May 15 Tom and Andrea Jaber. “Power Duo” Tom is on faculty at the Shepherd School of Music and Andrea is an acclaimed soloist. The year will end on a high note
Books are always needed for our book exchange. If you have books to donate please bring them to the FPC Welcome Center marked for Adult Plus. We appreciate your donations.
