Parking Updates

With apologies for the confusion of last week, here is what you need to know about parking at FPC during the Museum of Fine Arts’ “King Tut” exhibition — straight from our Executive Director of Administration, Steve Pitzer — who has been doing a great job of making sure that FPC and MFAH are in synch on this matter.

On Sunday mornings, we will continue to have access to all of the parking lots that we have always had access to. Despite the confusion of last week, nothing has changed on Sunday mornings. During the week days, the South parking lot will continue to be available to members and guests of FPC — along with parents and visitors to the Presbyterian School. Museum security staff in the lot may ask you to share your destination, but as visitors to the church campus, you have full access to that lot — provided spots are available.

To help alleviate the demand for parking in the South lot during the day, your FPC staff and the staff of Presbyterian School will park in the North parking lot. In addition, though the Glassell lot will be restricted to museum parking only, the two lots across the street from the Palm Court entrance to the campus will be restricted to school and church parking only. Here's a map to reference.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation and patience. While we believe we have it all sorted out, there will inevitably be small misunderstandings from time to time. Please don’t hesitate to let Steve’s office know if you have any questions, or if there are still issues that need to be addressed.
