VBS at FPC – Turn it Up! June 24-28
Every kid loves a good story, whether it's a book, a movie, or a video game. So get your kids excited about the most incredible true story of all - God's loving pursuit of us through time.
“Turn It Up” is a five-day VBS that takes a journey through the Bible, giving kids context for God's Big Story. Help kids discover how they can be a part of the story when they turn up the power of God's love in their life.
For our “rising” 5th & 6th graders we have something special in store for them this year during VBS! Each day they will travel off campus to one of our local mission partners, where they will learn more about that particular ministry, and how we can show God’s love for others through serving. On Thursday, of VBS, we have a trip planned to visit the Living Water International Headquarters, where they will get a taste of what it would look like to serve in other regions of the globe! This will be a great experience for them to learn just how blessed they are and what FUN it can be to be a blessing to others.

Registration for kids, youth, and adults is now open online. Click VBS and please read all the information.
The ATTIC Sunday School
Come discover a place where God and kids meet.
Elementary: Kindergarten through 5th grade)
The Elementary kids will be moving up to Room 259 called “The Attic.” This is a new space created just for them, and this space really lends itself to having an attic type of feel. The kids will be climbing in and discovering new adventures as we search for treasures found in attics. Treasures that we will look for hidden in passages of the greatest treasure there is – the Bible! We’ll have our large group component in room 259 and then will move to our break out rooms in the hallway upstairs.
We are also introducing another worship time for kids to gather and participate. This will take place during the 11:05 worship hour. It will take the form of a Kids Worship Service and will be geared just for them while also teaching them aspects of worship – what does that mean, what are the elements of worship, why do we do it, etc…We are also adding a mission component to this as well where the kids will learn about and engage with our mission partners – local and global! We are excited about this new opportunity. Contact Annie Heinbuch, aheinbuch@fpchouston.org or 713-620-6545

FPC Elementary Choir Opportunities
The children’s choirs at FPC offer an interactive and fun way to learn about worship. Children have several opportunities throughout the year to sing in FPC’s worship services, and learn to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through singing, movement, and mission involvement. All children’s music times are scheduled to fit together with Sunday School and other Children and Family activities, so that children may participate in both.
