We know that some of you are in the stages of spring and summer planning. With that in mind we wanted to have you “save the date.”

Details to follow in the coming weeks!
The ATTIC Sunday School
Come discover a place where God and kids meet.
Elementary: Kindergarten through 5th grade)
The Elementary kids will be moving up to Room 259 called “The Attic.” This is a new space created just for them, and this space really lends itself to having an attic type of feel. The kids will be climbing in and discovering new adventures as we search for treasures found in attics. Treasures that we will look for hidden in passages of the greatest treasure there is – the Bible! We’ll have our large group component in room 259 and then will move to our break out rooms in the hallway upstairs.
We are also introducing another worship time for kids to gather and participate. This will take place during the 11:05 worship hour. It will take the form of a Kids Worship Service and will be geared just for them while also teaching them aspects of worship – what does that mean, what are the elements of worship, why do we do it, etc…We are also adding a mission component to this as well where the kids will learn about and engage with our mission partners – local and global! We are excited about this new opportunity.

FPC Elementary Choir Opportunities
The children’s choirs at FPC offer an interactive and fun way to learn about worship. Children have several opportunities throughout the year to sing in FPC’s worship services, and learn to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through singing, movement, and mission involvement. All children’s music times are scheduled to fit together with Sunday School and other Children and Family activities, so that children may participate in both.
Joyful Sound (Grades K & 1)

EXCITE AND IGNITE WITH ELEMENTARY (THE ATTIC)
At the 9:30 Discipleship Hour:
Act, perform and excite! Large group acting volunteers are needed each week to help to bring Modern day and bible stories to life during our large group discipleship hour in The Attic! Actors work on a rotating schedule each week and can sign up for as many Sundays as they wish. Actors need to be high school age or above.
SMALL GROUP LEADERS:
Connect, guide, and grow! Develop relationships with kids as you dive deeper into each week’s lesson. Lead activities that explore the monthly virtue, scripture and weekly Bible story.
MATERIALS PREP TEAM:
Weekday serving opportunity. Working with the Elementary Coordinator, help gather, organize, and prepare materials needed for Small Group time.
Be present on Sunday mornings to welcome families and kids, help visitors get acclimated, and answer questions about Elementary Ministries.
SMALL GROUP SUBSTITUTE:
Fill in for infrequent, last-minute leader absences. Great for those who travel or can’t commit to a regular schedule!
At the 11:05 Worship Hour (11:05 – 12:15):
Worship and interact with elementary kids during Kids Worship and Backpack Missions. We’ll sing, pray, and worship in a fun and age-appropriate environment. Engage with us in the mission field as we reach out to those around us. Then it’s time again for some recreational fun in the Adventure Zone.
