Summer Trips 2013

Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Description:
This summer our high school students will head to the Dominican Republic for an experience that we are praying will be life changing and unforgettable. We will be serving in and bringing the love of Jesus to several orphanages and doing construction work alongside local churches to families in need. After serving for a full week we will take some time to celebrate and reflect on our experience at an amazing beach resort. Spots are limited so sign up as soon as you can!

Oregon Coastal Adventure

In late June, our Freshmen and Sophomores will head to Portland and eventually to the Oregon coast. We plan to experience breath-taking hikes, enjoy sea kayaking, biking and perhaps even some rock climbing. We will partner with our friends the Corson’s from the Seattle area for the spiritual adventure of a lifetime. We will leave our phones behind, enjoy spectacular food, and engage in worship and extended quiet times together daily. We will spend plenty of time splashing through the Pacific Ocean, drawing near to Jesus and each other and having a blast!

Rocky Mountain National Park Adventure

Description:
In late July our Juniors and Seniors will head to Rocky Mountain National Park for the spiritual adventure of a lifetime. We will fly into Denver, board our vans and head straight to the National Park. At our base camp we will set up tents, learn to cook our own meals, make fires and experience life together in the midst of God’s creation. We will leave our phones behind and enjoy extended times of worship, time in the scriptures and draw near to Jesus and each other. We will spend plenty of time splashing through rivers, making new friends and having a blast!
